Brexit Energy Insights – a joint study by Becker Büttner Held (BBH) and Shakespeare Martineau

Becker Büttner Held (BBH) and Shakespeare Martineau published on the 21 of November a joint study with the title “Brexit Energy Insights” which the same day has been discussed in a roundtable at BBH Brussels with selected experts from Great Britain and Brussels. Participants in the survey included companies from the UK as well as from other EU Member States. The study and the above-mentioned discussion made it clear that Brexit can have dramatic consequences for the UK energy sector. If Brexit negotiations are unsuccessful, especially rising energy prices, a decline of investments in renewable energy and problems concerning the security of supply are to be expected.
