Stevan’s areas of expertise include dispute resolution before local courts and international arbitration; M&А and general corporate; financial services; bankruptcy and competition. He advises clients in all aspects of legal structuring of their business in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in cross border formations. His experience includes:
– assisting Chinese Development Bank – Project Stanari in connection with the complex 350 million EUR financing of the concession project for building Stanari Thermal Power Plant in Doboj, Republic of Srpska;
– representing KfW – in a complex bankruptcy proceeding against local microcredit company: representing borrower, a foreign fund, in a leveraged buyout process currently under way involving Croatian and Bosnian banks with a subsidiary in Bosnia and Herzegovina, structuring the transaction, negotiations with the banks and complete legal service, value of the loan 13.5 million EUR;
– advising company Dongfang Electric Corporation Ltd. (DEC) in connection with the project Stanari about legal and regulatory aspects of the project worth 500 million EUR for the construction of power plant Stanari in Doboj;
– advising the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development together with society Economic Consulting Associates Ltd, in conjunction with ESCO projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina; assisting TECHNOR Energy Norway from Norway on the project of development and operation of six hydro power plants on the river Bosna in the Republic of Srpska (Concession project Cijevna);
– advising Energy Eastern Europe Austria – ERS SHPP Bosnia and Herzegovina in relation to the affairs of small hydroelectric power plant on the river Sućeska;
– counsel to Affidea in all aspects of its investment into the radiotherapy center operated in Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska;

Stevan is also a council member of the European Forum of International Bar Association. He has also received a jubilee award from the Law Faculty in Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska, for his contribution to legal profession in the country.
Stevan is serving as the member of the Board of FIC for more than a decade. Stevan is also one of the founders and member of the organizational committee of Banja Luka Half-Marathon and is active in developing road running sport in Banja Luka and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
