Vita

Iliya is a partner with Dinova Rusev & Partners. His practice focus lies in the Energy sector, where he has extensive experience advising clients on transactions in both renewable and conventional energy. Alongside advising clients on project issues, Iliya actively participates in the discussions on the new energy legislation and regulatory issues in the energy sector. His experience in the field also includes advising clients on all aspects of implementation of projects for production of electricity from renewable sources, electricity trade and supply agreements, environmental compliance and carbon trading issues. Iliya has significant experience in structuring, drafting and negotiating Power purchase and grid connection agreements as well as construction agreements in the energy sector. His Real Estate experience includes participation in due diligence reviews, advising on regulatory compliance and drafting and negotiations on a wide range of contracts, including construction and lease agreements. Iliya also has extensive experience in environmental compliance issues focusing on environments clearance and disputes related to the energy and mining sector. He also represents clients in commercial, environmental and administrative litigation mainly on energy and environmental issues. He has an impressive track record of succeful cases in both administrative, civil disputes and is involved in international disputes related to energy issues.

Prior to joining Dinova Rusev & Partners, Iliya completed a clerkship at the Administrative Division of Sofia City Court and worked as a freelance legal counsel. He also teaches the law paper for the ACCA exams and corporate finance with BPP Professional Training. He speaks English and Russian. Iliya was awarded a Magister Juris Degree from Oxford University in 2008 and holds a Certificate from UCSD San Diego in legal drafting which he obtained in 2005.

Radoslav is senior associate with Dinova Rusev and Partners Law Office. His work is focused mainly in the field of Energy & Environment, Dispute Resolution, Real Estate, as well as Corporate & Commercial.

He is experienced in the renewable energy sector and actively participates in the discussions and development of the energy legislation and the respective regulatory issues.

Radoslav also advises on matters regarding electricity trade, supply agreements and grid connection agreements. His Dispute Resolution practice is focused in administrative and civil litigation proceedings on energy issues. Radoslav also supports the team on a daily basis in several energy projects that the firm has undertaken.

He handles also various matters related to Real Estate area, where Radoslav is focused on sale-purchase agreements, due diligence and dispute resolution.

Radoslav joined Dinova Rusev & Partners in 2012 as a junior associate having experience in another law office based in Sofia, Bulgaria. In his spare time, Radoslav enjoys sports and spending time with his family.
